USE AND CARE OF GARMENTS

Think+ Positive energy garments are conceived and manufactured for major comfort for athletes while competing under the most varied weather conditions. Designed and produced in the utmost respect for the wearer, using 100% high quality Italian textiles, ink and accessories, these garments fulfill all the quality standards for a reliable product. Think+ Positive energy is the result of our experience in the manufacture of handcrafted garments starting in 1989.

By following the instructions below your THINK+ Positive energy garment will retain its characteristics for a longer time:

• How to choose and wear the garmento
- When putting on and removing the garment, you should try not to pull it too much, taking special care not to exercise excessive tension on the material and seams.
- Before getting on your bicycle, we strongly advise that you simulate you racing position, adjusting the garment in order to obtain maximum comfort during the activity.
- Please pay utmost attention when choosing the size, in that the choice of a larger size could compromise the quality of the product. For example overalls and tights/leggings should be form-fitting so that the lining of the seat of the trousers doesn’t move while pedaling; in the same way thermal wear should be close-fitting in order to facilitate perspiration and the thermal quality of the product.

How to wash the garment
Washing instructions can be found on the inner label of the garment.
We advise that you close all the zips and turn the garment on the wrong side; use neutral detergents, avoid fabric softeners, stain removers and bleach.
Dry the garment avoiding exposure to direct sunlight; if using a dryer, set a suitable temperature.

Common problems and how to avoid them
In most cases textiles are ruined due to friction/abrasion; this can come about for example if one uses an embroidered saddle or one which, because of its particular form, engenders friction on contact with the legs.
Moreover a garment which is too big tends to crease, which can cause abrasions at the points of contact.
During physical activity the body, together with sweat, expels mineral salts, for the most part sodium and chloride as well as magnesium and potassium: it is therefore advisable to immediately rinse the garment in order to remove the sweat, thus avoiding deterioration of the textile fibres and loss of the garment’s characteristics. .

Do not place wet garments in closed, unventilated containers, plastic or other bags, in order to avoid the formation of bacteria which, in addition to irritating the skin, in the long run can ruin the fabric.
The sun’s rays cause fading of the colours.
Dry your garment on the wrong side and avoid exposing it to direct sunlight.
Do not wash your garment together with gloves, bags, shoes or other objects with Velcro or rigid parts that can cause fraying due to contact during the washing cycle.
